For whom this Cisco training for:
This course is designed for professionals who want to obtain a Cisco certification, regardless of their specialization. Even if you’re a network technician, network administrator, help desk staff or network support engineer and going to implement and manage Cisco networks, this is the course for you.

Your goal
You achieve the Cisco Certified Network Associate certificate, then it will demonstrate that the basics of the Cisco-dominated networks. You small networks (up to 100 connections) construct and manage. And you are familiar with different techniques and protocols such as IP, IGRP, Frame Relay, VLANs, RIP, Ethernet and Access Lists.

Cisco training:
The CCNA program consists of two parts. You decide whether you do an exam once, or in two parts. If you choose to do an exam once, you take the CCNA 640-802 exam and get your CCNA degree. If you choose to take exam in two parts, then you first take ICND1 640-822 exam (you will be Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT). The take INCD2 640-816 exam, and you become the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

• Network Address Translation (NAT)
• IP v6
• Wide Area Networks.

Guidance
During your studies you will get intensive guidance from your personal tutor. He will assess your homework and help you if you have any questions.

Digital Learning Environment
Besides the materials you use the digital learning environment on the Internet. You will find many useful tools such as knowledge of the digital trainer or coach.

Exam

Program concludes with one or two Cisco exams (depending on your choice). These exams are from Virtual University Enterprises (VUE).  If you pass the exam, you receive the Cisco Certified Network Associate certificate, valid for three years.

Training:

For this course you don’t need any specific training. Training as a CompTIA A + is an excellent foundation, but not necessary. Some experience with PCs, operating systems and networks is however desirable.




Cisco Certified Design Expert CCDE

The Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) certification identifies networking professionals who have expert-level knowledge and skills in network design. CCDE certification emphasizes network design principles and theory at the infrastructure level. This prestigious credential recognizes expertise of network designers who can support the increasingly complex networks of global organizations by effectively translating business strategies into evolutionary technical strategies.

A CCDE can demonstrate an ability to develop solutions which address planning, design, integration, optimization, operations, security and ongoing support focused at the infrastructure level for customer networks

Prerequisites

There are no formal prerequisites for CCDE certification. Other professional certifications or training courses are not required.

Exams

Candidates must first pass a written qualification exam and then the corresponding practical exam.

It is expected that the candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the topics in the exam blueprints, a minimum of seven years job experience, and a thorough understanding of networking infrastructure principles.

Step One: CCDE Written Exam

You must pass the two-hour, written qualification exam which covers advanced networking infrastructure design principles and concepts. Once you pass the qualification exam, you are them eligible to schedule the practical exam.

Step Two: CCDE Practical Exam

The CCDE practical exam an eight-hour exam that will test your ability to identify, manage, and create advanced solutions for large scale networks. You must pass the practical exam within three years of passing the written exam in order to achieve certification.

Recertification

CCDEs Are Required to Recertify Every Two Years

Active CCDE status shows your commitment to maintaining expert-level knowledge in an industry critical to the success of virtually every organization. CCDEs are encouraged to continually expand their technical knowledge and are required to pass a recertification exam every two years. If you do not complete your recertification before the deadlines, your certification will be suspended and you and your employer will lose the benefits associated with your expert status. You have one year to reinstate your CCDE status before you becomes inactive and must begin the certification process all over again.
